Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Why is Carlos Rodriquez CEO?

I am curious why Carlos Rodriquez is CEO?
Is he particularly skilled? (no)
Is he smarter than everyone else? (absolutely not)
What has he done to deserve that role? (nothing)
Was he a founder? (nope)
Has he done anything significantly positive for the company? (again, no)
Has he helped the employees he is suppose to be leading? (not at all)
Are the clients happy with him as CEO? (not in the least)
Does anyone respect him? (nope, not a chance)
Does he have any morally redeeming qualities? (again, no)

The question could go on and on but the short answer is he really is not a good CEO at all. He has done nothing positive for the company, the employees, or the clients. He has only hurt all in order to profiti for himself.

He is planning on more continued layoffs in order to hurt more people so that he can prosper. The layoffs are not supposition but planned and continuing through next year at least.

As employees of the company, it is time we call for a new CEO who can lead this company out of the dark spot it is in. While riots are absolutely not the answer, we do need to protest and make our voices heard. We need to take a stand that employees cannot continue to be treated this way and that we and the clients deserve top management that understands and is aligned to help us. Please join in calling for positive change before it is too late and you are laid off as part of their plan. Time for change!

Who cares actually? I certainly don't! Carlos certainly doesn't. YOUR BOSS certainly doesn't. Hope you get the boot - I don't care! Just like you don't care!

Then it sounds like they should appreciate what they have albeit not ideal. They should quit whining like little children and either push on or leave.

Life is for the tough.

In regard to the person who asked “Why don’t my friends leave If they Unhappy “? ......

I’m sure they would however if you have an IQ over five you would realize that when you’re in your mid 50s jobs are hard to come by. So they have a choice..... stick with a job they don’t like Because it pays the bills or find something else more enjoyable that will Pay maybe half your current salary at best And severely downsize your life.and severely downsize your life.

Excuse me for having a little bit of empathy for people who Have It difficult. Apparently empathy is not an Attribute you possess.

@5pzq+18bpOdbl - maybe when you grow up and mummy and daddy aren't taking care of you, you will start to realize you don't get your way by pouting!

Maybe your friends should leave if they’re so miserable? I dunno, just a crazy thought.

In response to the poster who said:In response to the poster who said:

“ If you got let go four years ago and think it’s a dung pile why do you care so much as visit this sight?”

The answer is because I still keep in touch with many of my former coworkers and hear them tell me how the place is deteriorated. I feel bad for them and what they have to go through so I read through the site to see if others feel the same way they do.

So, if I hurt your little itty-bitty feelings I don’t give a C-ap.

I agree with a lot of the postings here......Having worked at ADP for many years before being let go in 2016 and seeing how the company deteriorated I would call that ADP is a dung pile. However I do have an issue here.....

Many people posting on this site making allegations or claims but refused to have the guts to back them up. One poster posted this:

“ I think I understand why it (ADP) was ranked on the worst places to work! Kind of embarrassing “

However they never mention their source, they never provide a link to the article that mentioned this etc. etc. I have no doubt that ADP s—s, I experienced it firsthand. However I, and a lot of other people here I’m sure, would like to read the article where it states that ADP Is the sh*thole we all know it is

Please have the guts to provide more specifics or a damn link please.

I agree ADP is not a good place anymore. It certainly does not impress anyone in the business world that you worked for ADP. They generally laugh at the mention of ADP or at best attempt to hide a grimace on their face. I think I understand why it was ranked on the worst places to work! Kind of embarrassing when talking to new employers.

Well, it will continue until the employees band together and stage a walk out or something.

I for one could care less if the company changes. They can rot in the mess they created and those fake "leaders" can worry everyday when the axe falls on them. ADP is a terrible environment these days in which to spend any amount of time much less full time employment!

Time for change = Time to leave. The only way to bring about change for you as well as the company.

Just look at the board members. They are pretty terrible in their own rights. Many just long term leeches offering nothing in value or leadership abilities. Just bad people sticking together for self preservation and control regardless of who gets hurt or what damage is done to the business, clients, or employees.

Carlos is there to make money and get himself as rich as he can. It doesn't matter that he doesn't have any talent. The Board of Directors want him there and he will stay until he runs ADP into the ground. No matter what happens, he walks away a rich man. He doesn't owe anything to his employees, his clients, or the stockholders. He is just there and the board is just fine with that.
