I heard General Motors made cuts into their contract with CDK last year and a few people were cut and got severance pay. Is there any truth to this?

CDK cut a few employees after they sold Digital Marketing about two years ago. GM opened up dealer sites to competitors of CDK so that dealers themselves wouldn't be exclusively stuck with CDK's product. This lead to less personnel being needed to work on GM sites.
Fake news.. gm never made cuts. A few apps just for decertified after review for compliance. Once fixed they are welcome back. This is doesn’t result in cuts but more work.
