How do former employees get their W2s if they were still employed or were getting severance in early 2020?

I got my w2 form today from xfromco. Fastest ever. Now I'm waiting for IDES to send me one. I got to do my tax filing early this year to get that $1400 from Biden.

I remember there being a former employee login link on 88Sears last year, but it seems to be missing now.
Log on to the former employee site on 88sears. You get it there
Employer is required to provide all employees with tax-related documents for the prior year.
I believe required by end of January, though this might be extended.
