I realized that it is not worth leaving before I get laid off (unless a much, much better opportunity arises), and I expect to be laid off very soon because the situation has never been more tense. One should first make good use of all possible benefits, as much as possible. I believe there are more of us who think like that??? It may seem a little weird, but in the end, I don’t care. I wouldn’t want to just leave without using everything I can. It's only now that I see how little benefits I've actually used.

Regarding the dumping policy, corporate policies I-XXII state that the dump must be recorded, documented, meetings (3x) and a follow up review and audit of the dump. Helps keep the wage slaves middle managers employed. Thank you-HR american company ladies
to the guy that has to document if he is 5 minutes away from his computer.
Get a cheap wire mouse with the bright red light.
Get a small glass cup of water. Put the mouse on top of the glass.
You should see the light pulse on and off and the mouse pointer move slightly.
This shows you active on the computer.
You can turn the mouse upside down and that will work as well.
Works so long as I.T. does not try to remote desktop control. In that case, your mouse just fell the floor while you are getting food.
Do they offer any pension/severance with medical/dental benies if they lay people off?
I was told by the supervisor that I would have to document time away from my computer of 5 minutes or more. Yet the supervisor and her pals routinely took long c-gare–e breaks several times a day.
Before you leave (or get laid off), make sure to cash out all of your Bravos and give away Bravos to those of us who will be left behind.
Curious, are they timing urine release, or are you on the clock for that bodily function? America was something else
I paid for the legal services benefit for almost a full year, meaning to "get around" to using it for a legal issue I had. Once I got my layoff, I was too busy and too stressed out to work on it, and I wouldn't have had time anyway. I wish I would have prioritized that. Instead, it was a stupid waste of money and I still have the issue. Lessons learned!
Do as little as possible , milk em dry.
That's a good idea. You never know what you will discover that needs immediate medical attention. Take care of it while you have the benefits and the possibility that you may need to file disability if you find it necessary to do so.
Can we still take a dump on the clock?
