Liability. Customer complaint of being scalded by hot water. Cold water use only

The poster below is correct. Hot water won't deactivate a virus. In fact, they like the warm, which is why it replicates quickly in your sinuses when the indoor heat is on. Just be sure not to use the hand blower to dry off, which shoots out all kinds of virus and bacteria.

Ask the AST to put in a work order to have it fixed. Simple.

Ridiculous.
I used to have this discussion years ago.

For water to be "hot" enough to k–l any germs it has to be really hot, skin burning hot. Yes "warm" water can help a bit if just doing a splash and dash hand wash but not much.

As for CV...soap k–ls the virus almost instantly. Look it up. Any soap. The CV virus is a lipid based molecule and "dissolves", disintegrates with common soap.

So before I wash your mouth put with soap, try using it on your hands first with any temp. water.

Business community doesn't want to pay for the added expense of hot water.
