Yup things getting better. Went to a repeat call for the 4x. Back end UBEE issues again, and again, and again, and again.. I reported it, we all reported the same issue every where nothing changed other than another BS repeat on me. Don’t worry, the customer is well aware now that are equipment is garbage. Going forward they all will know. They expect the service is to “ save them”. Really? You keep going back to the same customer with the same issue! TELL THE CUSTOMERS THE TRUTH!! ALTICE DOESN’T KNOW HOW TO FIX THE ISSUES! FIGHT BACK! FIGHT BACK!

Is anyone really surprised that the service and work environment STILL s—s? ATS or no ATS, you work for Altice, the company that has been running this s—t show the whole time. You can complain to HR or your union reps all you want, nothing will change.
in my area we have the contractor techs that dont even know the difference from a analog channel and a digital channel. they cant read the meters correctly. they dont use the correct the channel plan for the system they are in so everything fails on the HIP test and what do they do? turn in a line call. these guys dont know how to fix anything because they dont even know what they are looking at.
I have offered to multiple techs to help train them on the meter and basic cable 101. Back when i was a tech i would have k–led to get free training and learn. I have not had a single tech interested in learning anything. for these guys its get paid and move on. if this company wants to survive the first thing that needs to change are these id–t contractors that dont know sh–.

I pop in here every so often just to see if ANYTHING has changed, including comradary. Nope....you guys still spitting the same venom even at each other. Volunteered to leave that place after 20 years in MAY.....GOOD RIDDANCE.
Until the hire more EXPERIENCED OSP techs Nothing is going to change. Until that happens nothing will change.

Why is there so many field service contractors
Hating on OSP techs? cant blame them, u think field service is short staffed, how u expect something to get fixed with no hip test attached and failing drop certification, pads getting removed cause their meter shows a little noise,smh no noise should return into system from home or just blame them for something u dont know.
Osp is putting out fires its not like the ole days where they performed system sweeps and maintain the system. These bankers don't give two sh–s about the coax system and if you can't see that then your blind. So there goes your resolution sh–ty equipment trying to operate on a system that they are burning to the ground put that in your fix codes
If you are in a union shop, put a grievance in about how things are not getting fixed. That you keep going back on the same calls. Make the company be responsible for their sh–ty service.
Make sure you do you hip and send it to outside plant. No hip to job.
