Did you hear about the recent Paul Reilly internal update? He said they were selectively calling back associates that were let go in September. I would go back, absolutely as a contractor making Paul's hourly wage. Sooner or later RJ is going to have a major incident that one of us let go would have been helpful in resolving. I've stayed in touch with a few close friends still at RJ. They are overwhelmed with work and no ambition to work extra, why bother they tell me. RJ is just a paycheck now. Not like the old days where you enjoyed going to work or weren't upset with getting a call in the middle of the night or the weekend. No loyalty to the company anymore. Wonder when the next Associate survey is going to be done. Let Paul whitewash those results

There isn't enough money in the world to ever make me even think about going back. Glad I left when I did. Once I was out, I realized what a big sh– show RJ IT really is.
I would work there again for a few more years until I can retire but not as committed as before, I always gave 110%. I worked in IT and I agree we had lots of business knowledge and knew how the applications worked. There is now less people to support them and several older IT folks like me are replaced with younger people from other countries. But I guess that's how corporate America should work now.
who in their right mind would even consider going back after they were let go. I certainly wouldn't. Sooner or later there is going to be a significant issue that they will call one of us 550 asking for help. I hope they call me. I will be glad to help for $1000 an hour, minimum 40 hours.
I would go back on a contract basis..but it would be like any contract job. I've heard more names on those let go and I'm floored. SO much institutional knowledge out the door. I worked in IT and anyone can code..it's knowing the systems and the business knowledge that goes with it.
Let Andy Z go and replace some servers and he can bring Bella as his backup
There is no way in He✓✓ I would ever go back
Even if they backed up a truck full of cash, I wouldn’t put myself or my family through the lost nights, lost weekends or lost sanity again!
who would seriously go back after getting treated the way they treated us. As a previous poster said I would go back at an hourly rate similar to Paul's
I would never go back.
I'm still at RJ working in IT. It is miserable here. Nobody cares anymore, not even management. I've been on a couple major incident calls and very few are volunteering answers or information. I've been here nearly 10 years and morale is about as low as it can go.
