People are labouring in other departments not filling positions that were made redundant and some of the positions that are being helped out in were agency staff that were let go.
Which redundant positions have been filled?
Yes there are people helping out in other departments because of lack of work. Its not just the mc shop guys.
This isn't something new, it has been the practice for years.

Just because job titles have not changed doesn’t mean that they are not carrying out the same job of someone who had their position made redundant. Clearly that position is still required.

Turning depts going to be the busiest going forward guys were told,where are two turners at?fired over to T and A to work there!another guys still sweeping the floors and emptying buckets,padlock will be out very soon !

Thats bs, there have been guys furloughed since the start of the year that weren't furloughed previously. More misinformation.
There will be no more furlough for machineshop,all the guys that were on furlough were given the chop!cant register new people on now that ships sailed,itl be a clean chop off of the head instead

Id like to remind all you bitter and twisted rejects that its only a job at the end of the day , there are many more jobs out there , i will take my wages and keep on working until the time comes to move on , be that through choice or matters out of my control..
Berating guys for providing for their families is disgraceful ! I like to remind all you brown noses how miserable you life is. You will deny it but the truth is you all have a sad and miserable life at DQ and you can't do anything about it as the only other place left for you is the biscuit factory.
If you're very happy in your new job why are you on here obsessing with your previous employers? Move on man and grow.up.
The only thing I wasn't good enough at was stabbing people in the back and giving a gobble under the gaffers desk to make sure I keep my job because I have more self respect.
Don't worry about my job situation. I'm one of the ones that can get a job outwith DQ. Very happy in my new job. No nights, as much OT as I want, flexi hours, a boss that doesn't treat you like a second class citizen and most of all, I can't stress this enough no sniveling, arse kissing, backstabbing, spineless creepers working beside me.
