I admit, it's hard. It's hard to see the place that was once an American icon fall so low. I've been here for nearly three decades. My mother worked at Macy's. We still love it, no matter what it turned into. And I hate seeing it slowly transform into a shadow of its former self. Call me sentimental or even stupid, but that's how I feel.

I as well with 30 years in am so saddened to come in and look around and remember what it used to be. I am feeling very sentiment as I prepare for the end of my career here. Whether it’s a severance package or just a resignation it’s time to call it a day.
And it’s going to get worse
