Genette is taking a once great company and morphing it into another Kohl's and JCPenney. Macy's needs to move upscale. HE NEEDS TO GO NOW!!!!!!! Thoughts?

Some of you’s are giving JG and the board too much credit - I think their failure is simply not knowing what to do and a complete lack of imagination.

Twenty years ago I would not go into a Walmart because of the cruel and unethical way the employees were treated. They were expected to do every physical job. Macys has now adopted this policy towards it's employees and Walmart has gotten somewhat better. I have returned to shopping at Walmart for somethings. The employees seam happier than the beat down staff at Macys.!!! When you go into a Walmart store you walk out with a purchase. When you go to a Macys you walk out in frustration with nothing purchased. On top of that how many customers do you seen talking to themselves dicusted that they wasted time going into a Macys store . Thats the Magic of Jeff G and lack of leadership on all levels of the company.
He has done nothing but led this company down the drain since the day he became CEO, mostly by creating an unworkable, paranoid landscape and getting rid of so many talented people. Has missed so much opportunity. He inspires no one. Needs to go NOW. That would boost morale.
