Was told to be ready for Next Thursday. They claim more regulation with the new administration and lack of demand to cut back even further as big oil is canceling the refurbishment of their trees... What a way to stay the new year happy 2021.

If you are 50 years old or older, start packing your computer. The age discrimination shown by this company is the worst I have seen in all of my career. Blatant. Not a second thought of wiping the most knowledgeable and experienced employees in the company from the payroll. Of course the LOOPHOLE EXCUSE that the people let go had the highest financial impacts to the bottom line....more experience....more raises... freaking loophole. Seriously, what is the point of taking raises to increase salary if that dollar amount becomes the albatross around one’s neck that when coupled with age seals certain doom upon any type of employment stability. I was really shocked that my manager participated in such undermining practices. My eyes are now open to the truth.
