what rubbish! There were some minor changes in the Contrail business unit end of last year, but nothing to write home about.
Currently at Juniper, There was a layoff last year May and con-seized to a smaller group. There have been no recent layoffs. The head count is still the same. The PLMs and the smaller team is still present. STOP SPREADING FALSE NEWS!
To which company, contrail is getting outsourced?
What I am saying is to sell or spin off Contrail to another company, Juniper can make money.
How can you sell a product that doesn't work, its so complicated and nobody wants? Its easier to just shelve it
The news is not published yet? Any reason, If Juniper is outsourcing contrail, it must announce it right.
Also, why can't Juniper sell contrail as contrail is supposed to be vendor-independent product.

Contrail acquisition is just to throw money to non-deserving people just for building empires.
A big mistake by PS, good that he himself moved out.
And it took only 8 years to realize that, that's a record!

From what I know, we are outsourcing support to an external company so they can support existing customers but we won't be continuing the development of contrail
Is the entire contrail group closed?
Yes, product and engineering laid off. Not sure how many yet
