Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Serious Question...

I think ADP is trying to fix stuff, regardless of methods, or decisions on people, but what is a legitimate question: Why is the stock falling when the markets continue to rally to all time highs? For example, today Dow is up over 500 and ADP is down. Is it worthwhile to try to stick it out ADP or is it better to leave and why? I see so many people being pushed out and the environment leaves a TON to be desired but at the same time we need income. Help!

"Take your 30 and go away"

Ridiculous statement. Everyone gets to post here, no need to try to chase people away from addressing uncomfortable information that you don't like. You don't decide who posts here.

I have 30+years experience with ADP. I took the voluntary leave over 2 years ago. The past several years I did witness many office closures and folks let go and replaced in new regions for far less compensation. Our clients felt the loss of experienced employees and I heard the complaints. New management continued to come in with their new/old ideas and moved people out and replaced them with their people, all the while doing more and more micro managing. Change is not always good.

ADP is indeed messed up. Bad decisions were made to guarantee the stifling of this company by getting rid of experienced, knowledgable, and competent workers and replacing them with inexperienced cheap workers.

If you are at ADP, don't bother to work hard. Just concentrate on finding a new, higher paying, and easier job that has a decent work/life balance. You'll be better off for it, mentally, physically, and financially.

Terrible advice from the peanut gallery. ADP's environment is completely messed up. Look hard for another job and leave as soon as possible for your own benefit. More layoffs are planned and even if you are not laid off you are indeed affected by either the workload or by the stress of the environment that ADP has created.

NOT a serious question.

You’re a fraud. If you work there, stay there.

Regardless of stock price which involves so much more than goofs on this website proclaim, a job there or anywhere is good.

Stock valuations are so much deeper than most nut jobs on this site want to be.

These lunatic wannabes are clueless.

You work there? Work hard, improve yourself constantly.

Please, don’t listen to angry, bitter cast offs that have nothing better to do than complain how they were so wronged.

Again, stay there but keep moving, life is tough, work is tough, Don’t blames others or expect anything.

ADP , perfect? Uh, no, listening to these folks..... nuts. Angry, bitter whack jobs, and you know you are.

To answer the question, I WOULD look to leave ADP if as soon as possible. ADP is laying off a lot of people for completely dumb reasons and bringing in non-qualified (yet inexpensive) new hires. As far as the stock goes, it is indeed down a significant amount again today and yes, the markets are all up. That is likely due to the outlook and downgrades given by analysts for the future projections of ADP being negative due to many factors. ADP management is a large part of the problem and it is likely not going to any better without mass changes in leadership so I would indeed avoid ADP at this time.
