A few months ago I stopped worrying about layoffs since I had no choice. It affected my stress levels and affected my health. I realized there was no point in it. If it happens (and it will) there is nothing that can be done about it. Instead I poured all that energy making sure that I would be ok if I was laid off. The only thing I can do is take control of my future. That’s all anyone can do.

That’s a great plan to have throughout your entire career no matter where you work. Remember, SWN is not the only company that does layoffs, which can’t be the worst thing that can happen. Nothing these days is a sure thing...only your attitude and how you swim shore after any wreckage in life, Good luck!
Who all is ready for the new year and a new round of layoffs. Strong indicators it will be on 1/20 and percentage (not total number of employees) similar to 16. It will be balanced between office and field staff. Start cleaning out your offices, trucks, etc. Remove those “Why I Work Safely” pics and other mementos. 2021 layoffs we are ready for ya!
