Looks like the WFH will continue for at least through Q1 so you can continue to get another 3 months off. Not a bad gig to work from home, get paid a lot of money, and still get bonuses.

Exxon bragging is a joke. You guys treat your employees pretty bad and you might have the big bucks, but I would rather be working at Oxy. You guys were still wearing ties to work up until a couple of years ago, so little backwards there. How did you like your co-workers getting put on pips and given 3 months severance and then laying off employees with four months in this pandemic, and right before the holidays. Exxon sounds like a real POS company to work for, and at least Oxy trust us to do our jobs when they can be done at home. I am sure Exxon wants you there so they can keep an eye on you for the next pip.
Wow!
Your CEO is probably competent and not afraid of the workforce being at the office. Image being hated and having to face the workers.
bunch of pussies at Oxy I see. We at Exxon have been back in the offices since MAY!
There are probably people who never did any useful work in the office and now that they are working from home can really be productive and enjoy their jobs. That result is counter-intuitive but may be true.
Those that have to go in the office deserve a hazard pay uplift. We all deserve bonuses because many have done 3-4 peoples work and even though at home are putting in 12 hours. I say for the people having to go in they deserve a 30% uplift for hazard pay. If you can give people bonuses for living in Midland then working during Covid is a no brainer.
Everyone deserves a bonus working for stupid VH
Agree! Our Payroll group has been required to work in the office. They (and others unable to work from home) deserve a huge bonus!!
Not only a bonus but a raise and a big high five!
The people that had to show up at locations for the past year under staffed deserve a bonus, the people that sat home, not so much.
There are no bonuses this year.
bonus?
I think it will be even longer. We as a country are about to go through tighter lockdowns and govt mandates that will keep us home at least through mid-summer. It is to bad companies have to keep paying rent while we all work from home. The virus is spiking and the vaccines are not being distributed at the state levels fast enough, and then you have to see who all takes the different vaccines.
