Thread regarding ADP layoffs

ADP has a "Low Character" management problem

Has anyone else noticed how bad the character and morals of the management at most levels has become? It is as if stepping on people and hurting others is required to be in management. And when they look back on things they can't say anything they did was legitimately justified. They convince themselves somehow they are hurting others for the "benefit" of the company - which is clearly flawed and proven it is not working. But the leadership positions continue on with their plan because they are morally bankrupt people. When they die I expect no one will say "wow, that was a good person or the world will be less because that person isn't around to abuse others." Too many low character crummy people in positions now they are not qualified for and ADP clients and employees are greatly suffering as a result. And these folks think it is all ok as long as they aren't hurt. Just bad management now. And that is because a person running the company does not value people. And remember, this individual's family came to the US illegally and he is here as a result and hurting so many. Low character, low quality, not respected individual.

This posts title nailed the REAL problem with ADP. And the management problem is just like ugly, ugly is really hard to fix.

Ha ha - Are you "owning" your c-appy job at ADP? Still dodging the question huh?

Yep dodging the questions again. How did I know that you wouldn't respond to the questions?

You seem to only try to justify your position by attempting to belittle others. I don't subscribe to that.

In fact, I personally "bettered myself" as you put, by walking way from this crummy work environment called ADP. I was tired of the terrible treatment of many good people and crummy new hires coming in that had no skills but were dirt cheap. I don't need to make any more money and I sure as hell don't need to sell my soul to a environment that treats people so poorly. I guess you are highly aligned with treating people bad and maybe that is because you have to make some money to pay your rent.

You don’t know how to better yourself?

Well, therein lies the problem.

Care to share how you are bettering yourself staying at ADP there big shot?

And when you are fired (and you will be) will you say it is all on you there big shot?

Bet you dodge these questions as you won't say that when you are unfairly terminated.

Lady , career choices are a tiny bit different than a car accident.

You argue like a child.

@1jas+18FhUYwi - guess you can't answer if/why you are still at ADP for the moment? Shouldn't you be bettering yourself, Mr. Winner? If your mom or dad were hurt severely in a car wreck, for example, that was not any fault of their own but a negligent driver or worse yet a deliberate crash into them would you be saying they should own it and it is their fault and they should have been bettering themselves and not been in their car? You really are quite a low IQ individual if that is how you think as you have suggested.

Own it folks, your life , your decisions.

Anything short of that is on YOU.

Please oh PLEASE argue otherwise.

You lose.

Sorry - A winner

“ I said it and you’re counter point is unrealistic and simple. And by simple I mean again... naive.”

Nothing unrealistic about it. Simply a factual statement. Two wrongs don’t make a right j*ckoff.

What does puzzle me however is why you seem to want to defend unethical behavior. Oh wait a minute I already know why..... because everybody’s doing it right?

Dipsh*t.

@1luq+18FhUYwi - you seem to be a bit ignorant. Bad stuff happens to good people for bad decisions of bad management (at ADP). That is not waiting for someone else to decide your fate, at least for most of the really good employees who were targeted solely because of compensation.

You must have already left ADP and you aren't waiting for your "fate" that will happen at the execs decision. If not, then you must not be bettering yourself. In which case you will get your "fate" anyhow.

A lot of people better themselves and don’t rely on other people deciding their fate.

Who are you?

This is actually a pretty stupid post. I don’t recall anybody saying they believe ADP was the only company doing us. The point is it’s disgusting regardless of how many companies are doing it.
Just because other companies do it also doesn’t mean it’s ethical and right.

A lot of people commit murder also. That doesn’t mean it’s right to k–l people.

I was told by someone very very high up thinking (wrongly) I was in the "in crowd" before all this this started that all and I mean ALL ADP employees less than executive level that have been with the company for more than 7 years and have a pension will be eliminated. It is being done in various waves with different milestones and people who think they are safe and have executing on the "vision" at the VP and SVP level will be taken out as well if they meet the criteria. Some folks who have been there for a while and seen there best peers laid off and think they are safe are being used as working pawns but they too will be eliminated soon. I am not kidding on any of this. Watch your back and make plans as it is continuing at ADP for quite a while.

@ihx+18FhUYwi - what's your story? Are you the benefactor of someone else who was targeted for layoff so you could be hired at a cheaper rate? Sounds like you have no understanding nor proper perspective on how many people were hurt. Sounds like you have been given everything in life and have never dealt with racism, ageism, or discrimination. In fact it sounds like you want to discriminate and are ok hurting others because someone else has a different view and experience than you and your best action is to say "leave"? Sounds pretty immature to me.

@zyc+18FhUYwi - if you think laying off between 15,000 and 20,000 people is the American Dream you are truly a c-appy human being. Enough said on that.

I am saying this BECAUSE a terrible unethical person who was given the "privilege" to live in America because his parents broke American laws to flee Cuba and enter the US (whether you agree is irrelevant - those were laws at the time). My point is the CEO is hurting so many people he is a pretty awful human. He not only is hurting thousands for his own profit, he is doing in a country that afforded him a better life than where he came from and this is how he repays that? I think you need to really look in the mirror and examine your prioirties. The devastation he has caused to so many families is hardly justified, nor is it even working as he sold to the board. ADP needs a new CEO.

Wow... who cares how his family came here! His family fled Cuba. He's a great example of the said "American Dream". That comments says a lot about you.
I'm not saying he's a great CEO but it has absolutely nothing to do with how his family came to the US.

After reading this I can only say that you need to walk away. No, ‘ I can’t because.....’, no, ‘I’m 50 and no one’s hiring during a pandemic. No, ‘ my three kids are in college........’.

If this is truly how you feel, leave. If you don’t, you’ve simply wasted 10 valuable minutes of your life thinking and writing the Op.
