Any layoffs coming in Folsom? I wonder what it will do to the local housing market? They’re the only high paying big fish in town, right?

They are laying off in IT again? Or is it just a continuation of the Q4/January 15 2021 purge?
Count on it. Already started with IT. Will continue with outsourcing and sending jobs overseas. When Intel evaporates in Folsom it will be back to that nice sleepy town in the 70s. Will have to close a few schools and businesses due to the departure.
Which orgs are at the highest risk of layoffs?
Most employees are from India living in apartments next to Intel. Bay area residence buying housing in Sacramento region and mkt is hot here.
