Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year all wrapped into one.
No one would layoff on a company holiday. Salaried are off and hourly would be double dipping which is not allowed.
Did they do it by email or phone, as I find it hard to believe that Halliburton would authorize at least two people, one from HR, and one from security to come in on a holiday to out process a person.
Unless you were not the only employee to be so 'honored' on Christmas Day.
The same b–tards responsible for the layoffs are cashing out stocks for christmas. That's all they care about.
Them b–tards don't care, just another way to screw people out of their benefits for nxt year.
