Farr is due to retire in 2021. Jamie Froedge will take over as CEO but not Chairman. Farr will continue to stay on as chairman to ensure that none of the skeletons in the closet are uncovered and his secrets remain a secret until the statutory limit is up and he cannot be prosecuted any longer. I pray that Jamie will not cover up for Farr’s and other executives illegal activities. The frequent layoffs will stop under Jamie who is a strategic thinker and executive unlike Farr who is tactical and without a game plan.

Then bring it forward loser..........let us all see it. No proof no credibility. Just a loser.
The ‘clear evidence’ exists. However, it is difficult to pin the senior executives down. They will just throw the troops under the bus and claim ignorance. It’s some rogue employees of their local partners who engaged in corrupt practices. I agree that China highest on the list where Emerson partners are used to bribe officials and yet kept Emerson at a distance. Brazil is next, then African countries followed by Indonesia and Malaysia. Us as employees know all these dirty tricks.
1) A lot of talk and no proof from anyone of any wrong doing at Emerson. The accusations are without merit and not credible without clear evidence.
2) Jamie has no chance of being the next CEO.
Mexico & PEMEX was the biggest!!!
You forgot China
I think someone should come forward with evidences proving that Emerson engaged in significant FCPA violations all over the globe by using their local partners to bribe officials and claiming ignorance. In Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America, partners bribed their way to get contracts. They cover their tracks well but we all know the local partners in Brazil, Saudi, Kenya, Ghana, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc., all engaged in some form of bribery to get contracts. Proofing it should not be too difficult.
what is MSR?
Nothing is going to change as long as FArr hangs around as chairman. Jamie’s hands will be tied. Think of the thousands of families Farr ruined in his 20- year reign of terror. I hope he will not have peace for the rest of his life.
This all sounds great, but how does anything change if Farr is still the Chairman? He will still be the puppet master.
Every Emerson employee knows that Farr is bad for employees and their families but are powerless to do anything about it. Farr takes good care of himself first and the top 300 MSRs executives next. Everyone else are pawns for him, to help him make his hundreds of millions.
It’s a disaster for the troops but not for Farr and the executives who are laughing all the way to the bank.
More hardships coming for the troops in 2021.
Jamie would be a breath of fresh air for Emerson after 20 years of Farr’s unmitigated disaster.
Is this speculation or been announced internally?
I agree. Jamie has a kinder and softer heart than the heartless Farr.
