If Drilling services is the deepest sink hole, then why keep it.
I was under the impression that we get rid of constant under performing businesses.
There are plenty of cheaper options of safety equipment on the market.
And operators stick to the BOP's that fit their programs. "Fit for purpose vendors and equipment".
Smaller intervention stacks will be the future for the next 10 years. There isn't a need for goliath deepwater exploration anymore. Fossil fuel consumption will not rebound like is wanted even in post pandemic. Enhanced oil recovery and intermit drilling (small project low capex developments)
Its already too late if you question this!

All departments that hire people with dodgy degrees from unheard of universities.
aberdeen drilling department shut down couple of years ago after losing every contract. absolute shambles by incompetent management. dregs of the industry. all fired now unemployed

How about we start with support departments. HR, HSE, IT, Legal, etc.
Are you sure we still have a drilling services department, we are getting our a– kicked by the mid-sized companies
do you people in aberdeen actually know what your doing/? doesnt look like it when it comes to drilling - thats why you lost all your work
