Thread regarding Conifer Health Solutions layoffs

Conifer never offered job security

I have worked for Conifer for just under 10 years and recently furloughed for 3 months pending Conifer's financial stability during this pandemic. I can honestly say since my first day there has never been job security. Yearly lay offs for financial instability left us on the edge of our seat. This year Conifer hired a large amount of overseas employees at a fraction of the cost of their long term commited employees. Trust me when i say their work is sub standard. Conifer has no commitment to their American employees and will be rid of them despite how well they perform. Hopefully the government puts a policy in place so Conifer can no longer send our work overseas and learn to value the employees who are so dedicated to them.

I was one of them in the lay off of 2019. I had over 20 years of service ! I exceeded my productivity and met or exceeded audit results. Never had a disciplinary action. I agree that have no loyalty to employees and will get rid of loyal, dependable, workers to replace them with cheaper overseas workers and new start up employees that will have less pay, and less vacation time to save a buck

Sadly I was on too. And not sure how I feel about this company anymore. I’m moving on as hard of a decision as it’s been. I truly loved my job, but I can’t be dragged threw the mud like this.

I would have to agree. Whole-heartedly. I was one of those people in the layoffs last year in November. I spent 3 years with them, and was in line to move up in the company only for them to decide to get a cheap, c-appy labor force overseas.
