When I heard about Amazon entering pharmacy market I didn't give it a second thought. After all, even if some of our pharmacies close as a result we have another employer to switch to. But the more I keep reading about it the more worried I get. Amazon seems determined to automate everything that can be automatized - and even the things that shouldn't be. We didn't get a new employer with this, we got somebody determined to get rid of our jobs altogether. And that scares me. Am I overreacting?

Pretty soon computers will do everything behind the counter. There will not be any pharmacy jobs anywhere. You’ll go up to a vending machine put in your health card and your credit card and off you’ll go. No people at all behind the computer
