Emerson's Automation Solutions Division (Fisher Life Cycle Services) just sold another large portion of their Service Centers to the Impact Partners. I understand there were also individuals not being transitioned over that are now laid off.
Actuation Technologies President was let go today and their Houston Operations Manager was let go last week.
Two factories alone in Germany to be closed and transferred to Scotland (a well known low-cost country...) and Cluj/Romania.
People affected about 450, plus suppliers and producers of components.

They will be laying off contractors in the coming weeks around 2/4-2/5.
How likely? About as likely as the next Pope being Catholic.
Just heard that big layoff is coming in Jan and Feb for Auto Sol anyone know if the rumor is true? What's going on with these monthly layoffs, never seen it like this.
Just heard from an HR buddy that more layoffs are due to be announced later half of of Jan :-(
I know for a fact the paperwork has already been signed and another 100 or so are gone in Jan and Feb. Are you on the list?
Another round is already guaranteed for Jan and Feb.
I'll post more when more are confirmed, stay tuned!
David Farr should do the honorable act and retire. He is causing untold sufferings to many employees and ex employees and their families. He will rot in hell.
