Pressure to avoid LTI?

I heard a story from a colleague about an employee who broke a bone at work and was pressured to wait until off shift to seek medical attention. Does stuff like this really happen?

Yes I have done it too. Waited until after work to go to doctor - fractured bone. Glad I did too, when I showed up at work next day in a cast boss told me "please tell me it didn't happen here". And thats what I told him ...

Lost time.
That is what a prison sentence for your management might be.
Document and report to OSHA any company influence to delay reporting an injury.
This is a criminal act.

I don't report safety incidents all the time. It's a super sh–ty culture... report report report! But if you do have safety incident, you're fired! So... damned if you do, damned if you don't. I simply don't report.

Absolutely.

I didn't have anything as undeniable as a broken bone, but MOH threatened my career and instructed me to push through the pain just like 'anyone else in my situation would.' Supervisor wouldn't let me take any time off to recover from my injury (no sick days, disability, EXWP, or even vacation allowed for >6 months)

Yes and if anything goes wrong they will blame you later for mishandling your injury.

Case management eg take a bunch of pain pills and get back on site so it isn’t an LTI
