I was able to close the card using phone prompts. But, took 3 phone calls (and almost an hour) plus about a dozen tries on CITI's end to delete my online account with them. I was thinking EM would not release their hold on me. LOL!!
Finally they were able to delete the online account. Makes one wonder why in 2020 and with GDPR, there is not a simpler online option to delete an online account.

Leeches worried about EM gas card. BTW when you stop your employment the card also gets cancelled.
Why would you close a card that doesn't charge you? Seems stupid for you for doing so.
Does the EM gas card discount end if you retire?
