This is a master thread about Moody's Layoffs 2021? Any news or rumors?

This week ( July 12 - July 16 2021) about a dozen people were laid off from Moody's Analytics - San Francisco and New York, and from M.I.S. combined.
No prior notice given to anyone. People's slack and zoom accounts appeared mysterious decativated during the week and that's how the rest of us found out. Managers also pretended d-mb saying they didn't know, but I doubt it. They just didn't have the ba--s to do the layoff themselves to their immediate subordinates.
Very shameful and pathetic for a company of Moody's stature.
Apr 28th 2021 Layoffs, mentioned here, I can confirm that and provide more details.
About 100 "resources" were let go / fired abruptly on Apr 28th. This coincided with Moody's announcing a record quarter in earnings and growth.
The 100 or so people fired were across several departments. My team lost 3 valuable resources, and 2 of the 3 were top performers. So not sure what's going on here.
The layoff happened at Offices in San Francisco (large number) and Nebraska and New York City primarily.
No advance noticed was given. We all found out indirectly (either the person let go was not visible in slack, or their account showed as deactivated in various meeting calls.).
Today, Apr 28th 2021 many people laid of in San Francisco office. Based on what I heard is more than 10 people.
98 MIS Tech jobs going to Charlotte. The thrashing continues...
I heard from a few MA colleagues who were laid off in NYC and India over the last 3 weeks. It’s a mix of titles and roles within Product and PRoject Mgmt without any concern on past performance. It seems like the motivation is cost cutting by any means.
There’re cases in NY as far as I know, not sure how many and which department got impacted
February 18, 2021: Numbers are not officially disclosed. Rumors said that there are tens of employees across multiple departments. Not sure is it limited to SF office or nation wide.
Anyone know how many people were laid off
Today (February 18, 2021) Moody's started firing in the SF office. We don't know exactly how it will end. Does anyone have any information?
They’ll probably just wait until the pandemic hits another peak in NYC like it did in May and then begin laying off people again.
