This company couldn't run a lemonade stand, let alone try and run a paint company. Poor decision after poor decision. Management is clueless from the top down. Short term outlook based on screwing their employees by not providing livable wages and requiring them to pay large premiums on mediocre healthcare.
Run their buildings with less people forcing the others to work longer hours so to preserve their overstaffed management team.
Vinny and Jaime are freaking mo–ns. They have no clue how to run a paint business in the us. Now they’ve stuck the stores management with a fake business rating taking thousands out of the pockets of us. The only thing ppg knows how to do is make acquisitions and screw their employees. McGarry has a major case of the little man syndrome. And they’re more concerned with Black Lives Matter than selling paint.
There is project Arrow Blue and Crossbow. Arrow is closing stores and combining resources in markets with more than one store. Blue is a partnership with Home Depot to service customers. Crossbow is a corporate restructuring that will eliminate the Home Depot regional team and put that responsibility on the store regional managers.
Next up? Reduced bonus calculations!!! These guys can't get any worse...

So Vinny, the "fearful" trade leader is pushing a distaster of a sales tool he doesn't know anything about so he doesn't know it will DESTROY the business. No one has the courage to speak up out of fear. He surrounds himself with yes people. What a fool he is and what a cluster this business is. HIs boss Jaimie has no industry experience and guess what? He is also destroying the business. No clue what to do because he has no clue what the field people do. Hint: WE DON'T SELL EXERCISE EQUIPMENT!!!! Maybe it's time for yet another survey. NOT. We are shaking our heads in the field with the incompetence of these people. Watch for March. There will be a mass exodus. Heads will spin. Guaranteed.
There are always layoffs. What is needed is layoffs at the top. Senior leadership is clueless and reckless with the business.
