For the second time since March, I was sent come for 72 hrs for having a fever. I waited for 45 minutes for temperature to go down but it stayed at 101. When I got home, I used under tongue thermometer and tested at 97.7.
I have lost a total of 1 week’s pay and this doesn’t seem fair.
I have thyroid disease and wonder if this is causing my raised temperatures? Both times were closing shifts. Could it do with the time of day?
Should I see a doctor?
Was it from new medication for eye infection?
If we had a union, would they be able to do this? What can I do so this doesn’t happen again? I have no vacation time left.

Unions won't do squat. Where an ice pack on your head for a minute right before you come in.
More cow bell?
