Today we lost a good employee, a man who knew every aspect of the plant . It is so sad to see this guy get layed off , he wore many hats to keep this plant running smooth, they will see in the future what they have lost when he is gone.

They dont give a star. All big oil and gas company now prefer to be oil and gas convienen plant. Get contract. Send out work. Assemmbly , sell then avoid tax as much. Get money, make a nice report. Done. Technology mean chken and egg to them. More sale mean best technology.
Same thing has been happening in Chemicals for years. Replacing people that know the piece of business quite well with a muppet.
Knowledge is power and it scares some of these plastic managers
If a position or employee had to be eliminated, this was not the one. You don’t lay off an employee that knows a facility inside and out , the machines, production, and keeps a department running so successfully. You lost a gem! A leader, A man that can’t/won’t be replaced. A manager not afraid to jump in and get his hands dirty. He led by example. The knowledge this guy has and his ability to work with others is impeccable. Total loss for BH.
This possibly is one of the worst decisions in BH The Woodlands plant history. From someone who knows very little about manufacturing and management. Nobody has respect for this plant manager and he needs to be replaced immediately! He will not get any support and will fail due to this decision.
What keeps this place moving forward.
It’s not the plant managers that move in and out of that position every few years. They have a little bit of schooling and walk around like they are better than everyone else with zero people skills.
What does keep this company and every other company moving forward are people that know their job and who are good at it. Someone who can look at a problem and figure out a solution in their mind before the first wrench is turned. Then relay that information in a way that everyone feels their job is important. That is who they got rid of.
Yet still they keep a plant manager that is the most useless person in the entire facility.....then the decision to get rid of someone who is the backbone of this facility, knows the operations and inner workings of the entire facility....one of the most stupid decisions they could have made.

Why is everyone picking on the poor little injuns?
As a general population they have far superior intellect and capabilities than majority of the mouth breathers occupying this planet.
Is there an ILM (injun Lives Matter) organization that can protest this unjust systemic racism perpetrated on its peeps?
You might find some fresh faced undergrad in India with a dodgy degree certificate who would jump at replacing that person for a green card.
