Anyone know how notice will be given? Email? In person? Text? Automated phone call? Zoom meeting? Mass meeting?

Haven't yall seen the George Clooney movie? The Zoom meeting will come from Omaha!
How long is the communicator training?
The step-by-step posting from a supervisor is the correct process. If you are a supervisor and haven't been through training, there are two reasons: [1] no one in your group is being released, or [2] the leadership team has decided that these communications should come from a more seasoned manager (the Communicator). I am a senior manager, but my VP decided to be communicator for the whole group, so none of her managers were scheduled for the training.
If the person posting the step-by-step is real and correct? Thank you!
Immediate supervisor will arrange a Zoom meeting. That is what happened to me and it was quick and over.
Wouldn’t this be a great use of the Direct from Linda bot, instead of the nonsensical, tone deaf garbage we’ve received?
Message Bot on Skype IN
Somewhere around Dec 4, a person will contact you - an 'Admin' unknown to you.
They will ask if the desk fan and/or piece of desk memorabilia (e.g. wooden dutch tulip / thai elephant-style paperweight / Downstream SAP jacket) is your personal property.
That could be a sign.
The Terminator (aka “communicator”) will read a robotic message either in person or by phone.
No details, HR “packages” will follow.
Impersonal, uncaring.
You’re not toast you’re burnt toast. Welcome to the layoff!
I am a supervisor and haven’t been given training. Does this mean I am toast?
No it will be the “communicator” and it will be 1 on 1. All US supervisors attended the training this week. Not all will be communicating because they could be let go as well. In yesterday’s meeting the list won’t be available until late next week and then those needing to be communicators will be informed.
From another post @sye+17ZfAoFm
I was in today’s session. (18th)
The communicator is the person doing the layoff.
The communicator may not be your supervisor if they are being let go as well and can be done in person or by zoom call
They initiate a survey which triggers the 60 day process, determines your last day on payroll (60 days from your notification day) and all the internal paperwork along with a prepaid shipping box if working from home.
HR would prefer all notifications are completed by the 11th but they have until the 15th if needed.
BL will determine if employees will work for the full 60 days or be placed on garden leave. You turn company property in and are expected to be on standby if needed. The communicator if they feel you need it can place you on garden leave at anytime based on your mental attitude.
It’s the basic framework for the process on how to let employees go. The communicator should also inform the rest of their team that they are not part of the program.
Instead of treating our employees like adults HR has decided to keep all of this information secret. I’ve told all my direct reports this already as it’s no surprise there will be a process to it.
It is fully expected that almost all will be off payroll by 15 Feb. Those BL that identified people needing to stay longer have already completed approvals for exceptions to this deadline.
I hope this helps take the edge.
You will meet with Bob and Bob, who will fix the glitch for you, and everything will just work out naturally.

Hard to know. Doesn’t HR have to be in the meeting?
