Thread regarding ADP layoffs

Why does ADP stock s--- so hard?

It seems it just has no ability to hold it's value. I suppose that is due to the fact so many analysts on the street have formed a negative forecast on ADP in the face of ADP's feeble and failed attempts at transformation by removing the best talent at the company. Clients are indeed upset and leaving ADP and ADP still pressed on with more scheduled layoffs and downsizing. What a terrible stock and company this has turned into.

To answer the question why does ADP stock s— so hard... it is almost always due to the management! They s—, and as a result the stock s—s.

I can't answer the original posters response for you; however, I will add to your point of the analysts on the calls, true they are not aware of the talent that has been let go, but by the same token they are not aware of the numbers (15,000-20,000) that have been or are in the mix of being let go. They know of "transformation efforts" but have not been let in on the ADP mass layoffs and replacement with cheap and/or foreign labor. Additionally I am sure they are not aware of the impacts to the clients or how upset many clients are at the current mess at ADP.

I'm curious to understand why you believe "many analysts on the street have formed a negative forecast on ADP ....(because) ADP removed the best talent at the company?" I'm not trying to be antagonistic, I truly wonder what your thought process is. My general impression in listening to earnings calls (when these analysts do actually interact with Rodriguez and Winters) is that the analysts have no idea and therefore no judgement on who has been let go. They are unaware of any factors regarding who was laid off other than the reduction in operating expense that ADP can take because of those lay offs.
