EM already did a mass lay off, but disguised it as performance issues. They are shady and it is an ugly approach for EM to be able to say “EM doesn’t lay off their people” so instead of being upfront and saying we are doing lay offs, they spin it to say you are not up to the level we believe you should be, and suffer being PIP’d or leave now with three months severance. Not only are people bring layed off, but made to feel like c-ap too. They disguised real layoffs by PIPs and got away with it so they can hide it from Wall Street, shareholders, the public and local and world news.
They couldn’t do it again so soon, so now they are calling it a lay-off this time.
So don’t forget the other folks they got let go already as a lay off in disguise by EM. It s—ed for them too.
The next wave is just about to happen again, but labeled as a real lay off.
