Managers hearing announcement likely Thur Oct 29 before Fri earnings call. Speculation is they want to inform us before broad strokes at earnings call. Will come by email and all levels will hear at once so no leaks that way. Rings true with what DW said in video and makes sense. Anyone else hearing this?

OP is right ... meeting BoD Wednesday to get approval for package; emails will be sent by company presidents on Thursday - outlining each company plans (will be different by company); earnings call on Friday
Turn off FOX and OANN. They’ll rot your brain.
@1fhr remind me again under which presidency did EM stock tank?
seriously... where are you getting your news from...
@nlc timing of release is likely going to vary. For GP and EMIT Projects for example, there are people with nothing to do right now. Those groups will probably see people released as soon as the company is able to. Other jobs will probably go throughout 2021 as they are transitioned to GBC/TC/MSP
Yes - the dividend will be cut. No doubt announced at that time.
At stock current price, the Widow's payoff would be ~15% annually if continued.
That's C-grade return. Moldavian municipal bonds.
How long after the announcement will people actually start getting cut? Right away or will it be after a few months?
My bet is Nov. 2nd
I am so glad I retired a year ago. Sold stock a long time ago.
Well the news will be out and cuts announced. It does not need to be a surprise in the earnings call. He will just refer to the Europe, Aus and NAM cuts announced as necessary steps. The appropriate place to announce is internally then reference externally in the call.
I can believe employee notification just minutes before earnings call, but the company is not going to give employees a chance to scoop them prior to the earnings call. DW wants to be able to talk about how well "difficult times" are being managed yada yada before any hard evidence of cuts gets out. My guess.
I also heard from Finance that a dividend cut will be discussed on the call
Makes sense. They have to announce something during earnings. Stock will pop a little and wall street will say we are finally doing the right things now.
