When you can't lead and have true vision and help people, you fire people to fake profitability. This CEO has shown his lack of ability to lead. His plan has and continues to fail as evidenced by the declining revenue, the shrinking client base, and dwindling new starts. I have even heard rumors lately of more office closings in Atlanta and Miami. It is a pretty bad board who doesn't or won't act and fix the real problem at ADP - namely the CEO. I suppose at this point so much damage is done by eliminating the skilled employees and replace with cheap unskilled foreign H1B's that the board doesn't know what to even do. This truly feels like a Circuit City story in the making.

Amen brother! Preach it! Carlos needs to step down or forced out.
Carlos is indeed a tiny tiny man. Only a person with a small man complex hurts so many in an effort to attempt to compensate for his tinyness!
No matter how one slices it or dices it, that’s NOT my ADP
Tiny tiny Carlos. Laying off people won't fix your tiny problem.
The only relevant question is: "Why in the world would you continue to work at ADP given how badly they treat people, the total screw up management, and how bad the work level is?"
Carlos keeps reminding everyone that he does not want to be a work from home company. He said it again not long ago. He wants people in the office to collaborate. We know the real reason is all the side deals ADP made with local governments of the super centers. They can't cut n run without mass tax and penalties.
Ok but I also heard that they are sending every employee a monitor, headset, and other equipment to better help them work from home. Which I’m sure this means they will be working from home indefinitely. I think the supercenter plans is out the window. Especially because of covid, more people in one building is not the solution anymore!
No, offices are closing to move people to the supercenters. COVID-19 disrupted the plans timeline. What is happening is due to remote work, more employees are going to be laid off, especially those who have been there 7 or more years or have a prior pension or are over 40.
Now, small client businesses are closing left and right and THAT is harming ADP immensely. And new client starts are dropping at an alarming rate. The CEO's plan to eliminate knowledge was a giant mistake. ADP is a tough place to work these days. It is highly depressing and the future looks pretty bad.
Offices are probably closing because I will assume move to a remote labor model indefinitely.
