Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

I need to see things are improving

And I need to see it happen soon. I can't be the only one who feels the weight of the current situation profoundly. Most of my days are filled with depression, anxiety, and dread - and very little of it has to do with the pandemic. Maybe it's my age talking or my decades of working experience, but this is not normal and it should not be accepted as such.

Things will not change. It is a company of cyst pool. Too late. Game over.

I don't think you need what you say you need. What I think you need is to stop hoping/waiting on others to give you what you need. The world will not adapt to you, so stop hoping for the wrong things.

I hear you. From everything I read and my own personal experience, the absolute best antidote for anxiety, dread and depression is human connection. Reach out. Find someone to connect with.

It shows a real lack of leadership when companies refuse to bluntly and honestly address the truths of what they are facing..... not only to investors, but more importantly with their employees. It is toxic.

Morale was low across the company before the virus. Leadership positions filled with incompetent good ole boys was already shocking to most employees
