Love that the forum was for all employees to hear a discussion and "update on future plans" during a time of maximum uncertainty but yet we were given a sweepstakes entry to get to attend and the event was not even live-streamed. Amazing leadership! Thanks for hosting a forum to bring clarity to your employees.

Management approved the excessive spending and headcount creep over the years. They lost focus of controlling costs and spent like drunken sailors as they do at home. Time to take responsibility. Significant cuts in management ranks coming

Annual United Way commitments are expected Ted to be paid in full if you leave the company before the end of year.
Did the same thing with refining director a number of weeks ago. To save bandwidth they did it via PowerPoint.

Glad I retired. Still hear from my friends and they are miserable. Everyone knows the exact day they can retire. Run like the military and the average worker has NO idea what is going on.
@orc - your question doesn't make any sense. Your UW donation was set up to take money from your EM salary. You don't have that anymore, do you ? So the donations have stopped unless you elect to start again from your new company's salary payments. Who do you think is going to fire you, if you stop paying to UW ? EM don't care anymore (and can't fire you anyway) and your new company doesn't care what you arranged with EM. Just count yourself lucky that you got a new job.
Your commitment to donate to UW is a contract between you and UW. It’s difficult times for everyone right now and for ExxonMobil to keep shoving it down your throat so they can look good is a joke!
The DW forum too was a joke. The invitation was was first sent to ALL management (check their calendars). Then to cover their backside, they sent the invite to the worker bee employees. DW is NOT interested in hearing what the employees have to say. Pay him more to listen less. That’s how we ended up here! ExxonMobil and it’s management is a JOKE!!
Do you know: in Switzerland exists an IT Company in which employees are electing every year the CEO. Guess what...the actual one takes care of Company and Employee same time! And is elected every year because he has the respect of his organization! I am jealous!
They are likely coordinating with a press release for market notification so everything gets out at the same time.
I was PIPed and took the 3 months pay and landed up a nice new job. I am still supposed to pay to ExxonMobil United Way? If I do not would I get fired from ExxonMobil without pay???
