If you were a veteran and let go by GA - please write the AF of DOD and let them knownGA let you go. The military looks for employers that are military friendly and assist veterans transition to civilian life. A good friend of my was let go at GA and suffers from PTSD from serving in the Middle East. GA did not care about his illness and the time he served fighting for his country. If it wasn’t for men like him GA wouldn’t exist. Please any military veterans that were let go write your congressman or the DOD directly. The military does reward contracts to employers that are military friendly unlike GA!

You are weird! Anyone who serves put their life on the line for the country. It doesn’t matter if it was 20 years or 20 minutes. Some people didn’t even last 20 minutes in a war zone. Military help each other and if an employer doesn’t take care of veterans the people who award the contracts will pick some one who does! Bc military personnel decide who gets the contracts! There were several in my building who got out because they COULDN’T handle the Military it was TO HARD
Some did ONE enlistment others under 10yrs
they’d talk about some sort of lame injury and how they hated the military but receive a disability check for the rest of their life use of the VA Hospital 10% discounts everywhere veterans recognition for life use of a GI bill paid schooling but couldn’t go the distance to retirement
Who do you think Built War Fighters Bombers Drones Recon Aircraft plus worked in Maintenance hangers repairing them so they can be sent back to our troops !

I worked for a supervisor who constantly said only stupid people join the military. When I reported to HR they did nothing. Sadly this supervisor wasn’t let go during the layoffs but I was able to transfer out of the department.
GA hired a large amount of non military guys/girls over the years most of them didn't understand the meaning of service and they constantly put down those in uniform calling them dumb and other insulting things.
People talk bad about the military at GA and still work at GA. I never understood why people would work at GA and hate the military
