Annual Enrollment begins today! You have until November 4 to enroll in and make benefit changes for 2021.
Would they send this if they weren't planning on staying in business next year?

They offered enrollment to the store I used to work at even though they knew we would be closing 3 months later. FYI, if the auto center closes, you can guarantee that the store will follow eventually.
Face the facts, there is NO future at Sears or Kmart. Open your eyes. No advertising, no marketing, no very little relevant merchandise and almost no employees in the few remaining stores. Eddie's mantra should be changed to "We're fighting like hell to pretend we are relevant". He has no interest in being a retailer. When did anyone see him in any actual stores? He could care less about the stores, it's all a game to him. Very sad.
False hope at best. Right now, the company is just going through the motions. Gives us something to do while we wait for the complete shut down.

The company I work for now offers the same or better healthcare benefits than at Sears and I am paying much less for it than I did at Sears.

Yes !! thank you sears/ a&e/ transformers for the outrageous price on healthcare that’s only $1,830.00 a months and $4,500 individual $9,000 family and to have my family on, and struggle to keep my house and lights on hmmm i just gotta sell more ... I know I should be thankful during this pandemic and having a job still. What’s the risk anyway contracting the virus from these wonderful members and trickle It down to my wife /kids and risk their health. It’s all worth it though I sold a c$m and a Ponzi scheme today. Outta boy. No retirement to contribute here or future.. this company gave up on us long time ago. 1099 boys here we come.

Of course they are sending it out. When they shut down or lay you off or make you part time you will be eligible for COBRA.
You are correct. Sears is hear to stay. You should go buy a new car and a house. Don’t worry your job will be there forever.
Yes for 2021 since there is still product on hand to sell. 2022 on the other hand, questionable to doubtful.
