HTS model and the pro forma is broken, has been for years, yet they still use the same forms and program. They have no intentions of keeping the rest of the stores open. They recruit new “owners” in stores where the “old owner” walked and lie to the new “owner.” I would think HTS would be liable for lies. Time will tell. HTS takes most of the profit and gives just enough to keep the “owners” alive, the margin of an independent is 20-35%. No one can make it on the margins HTS pays. The contract, if that’s what you want to call it, is a whole other story.
