Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Juniper acquisitions

Now 128 technologies. I read it got revenue of $120M, how come it got acquired only $450M. This looks better acquisition compared to Mist and Contrail. Also, how come Versa networks is not considered?

Also, from where Juniper is getting money for these acquisitions?

Versa is tied up with some weird OEM agreement with Riverbed. 128 seems like a good acquisition and just hope their tech can generate momentum for us.

128 Technologies is on the East Coast, not the Bay Area. Except for Bay Area and Seattle, companies in the rest of the country sell for reasonable valuations. This could have been the reason Vera was not considered. As per the last Q statement, Juniper has $1.8B cash in hand, so coming up with money is not an issue.

This seems like a good acquisition. Whether 128 Technologies continues to innovate under corrupt Juniper management remains to be seen.
