Thread regarding Univar layoffs

On April 17, 2020 Univar Solutions (NYSE: UNVR) reduced its workforce by 1% due to falling stock prices related to the COVID 19 Pandemic. The labor reduction was implemented across all departments throughout the United States; operations experienced as minimal of a reduction as possible while contractors and sales personnel were impacted the most. Sales personnel that were terminated were informed there positions were eliminated and their territory of responsibility would be absorbed by other colleagues. Contractors impacted were informed there services were no longer needed and personnel within Univar Solutions would complete the tasks they were working on.
