Happened to look to see who replace OCC President and saw GV and SL are no longer listed. Have there been some overdue EC staff reductions? Does OCC report into the CFO? Also, what is the JB role makes no sense to me.

Too bad Oxy decided to minimize the ME in their future expansion plans. Maybe GOM will be good going forward.

As for the page being down, it's pretty clear that someone posted the reorg early. It wasn't just that people weren't listed, they also had new titles. Definitely not a case of an inadvertent deletion
KD is such a waste of space in OXY. The new Algeria’s management team is a joke! Whoever couldn’t do anything useful In their previous role got promoted and sent there! Oxy’s way!!

@1mee I wouldn’t worry about GV Jr. I am sure he will survive just fine on the management ladder even without GV in the company. Relationship will always be ,ore important than technical compentency, skills, and talent, contributions.
From where I am, Sevin Jr. does just fine without daddy in the company. Zero technical competency.

Everyone has to retire at some point. They are fortunate they have such lucrative severance packages.
If Robert Palmer is gone — one of the brighteat, honest, best executives in Oxy — then Oxy’s future is much more iffy.
Perhaps the decision (stupid IMHO) to sell onshore Colombia was the last straw for RP?
It’s been a while since technical talent has mattered in Oxy. Brown-nosing, politics and nepotism is what gets you ahead at Oxy.

I agree, No one is commenting on their value or wether they deserve the multi-millions they received in compensation, that is history. The question was are they retiring execs on 31 and who.
All three provided decades of fine service to the company and deserve a nice retirement.
