Former Ft Worth electrician here. We’ve heard that they are not calling any of us back even though it’s been busy. Sad to hear but that’s how it goes. It’s frustrating considering hearing how bad some other locations workers are. We’ve heard about the Houston guys up here and the posts below confirm what we’ve been told. It’s no secret in the Red River that the level 2 electrician there is terrible and can’t do much right. Not many believe he legitimately passed the test, sounds fishy to us as we’ve all heard about how bad he repeatedly fails. Oh well such is the railroad way. I doubt many of us would return at this point anyway considering the state of the business. Good luck everyone

I call BS, come with proof! You have to have hair to ride this ride! Now stop starting sh–! Get your bored a– out of milby and go retire and give us all a freaking breather! For heavens sake!
Milby locomotive is closing . Confirmed this morning on the conference call in Ft worth. Tentative date will be December 29th. Layoff notices should be coming soon before that. That’s all I have now, will update as soon as I hear any more
That’s why you should pay class A dues you can go right to work on the outside.
15 years of hard work and dedication and this is how I am treated? They don’t know what an asset they’ve lost.
Now I am asst manager at Hot Topic. I get respect here

Apprentices keeping jobs while journeymans are getting laid off??????????
Makes no sense.
Why would they lay off Journeymans and keep apprentices ? Houston has six apprentices they are worthless and yet they force Journeymans to go to places away from their families ... these are people that earned their spot.
This stuff stopped being funny after the first 2 days... Some people just don't know when to stop when a joke has reached the end of it's life. Just pure stipidity at this point truly pathetic. Every post is from a Milby guy here including this and it's obvious.
