It's going to be layoffs next week, no it'll be furloughs next month, no it's layoffs after all, no we're all good for a while... It's so tiring to know something is definitely coming but having no idea when and how. It's emotionally draining and it's definitely affecting my productivity. I just wish they'd tell us once and for all what's going on!

They won't go bankrupt, they will sell things. Like maybe the waste of east campus. The only reason for purchase was private strip and space. They don't need either now since no government contract for scorpion and reduction in number of models. If you work on east campus, get ready for a move.
I've been thru layoff before. During this time of uncertainty, take this opportunity to make yourself invaluable. It does you or nor the opportunity the company provides to you any good to make things more difficult. I know I felt betrayed and wanted to do as little as possible. But knowing what I know now, I learned that those people who are working beside you will remember those who were invaluable and those people will be there first call when better opportunities open up.
Considering the economy, you will most likely see people go, for many reasons. Give them a good last impression and prepare yourself financially, physically and mentally.
500mil 1yr bridge loan in June, another 500 mil Bond loan in Nov. All bleeding out quick. Writing is on the wall. Bonds were last hope to make it thru the hard times. Last 500 mil lasted 5 months, you have till April until bankruptcy.
Not always , if in paint process, they sometimes call back and lay off in other areas
Been in acft for 28 yrs, multiple companies and it's always been like this. Get use to it or find another career.
Well I was laid off in July and was on warn until Sep 14 and I got a call back Sep 31 I start back on Oct 26 so don't worry they wouldn't be calling everyone back if they were laying off
