Thread regarding Sears layoffs

What’s the point

Why go back and the company is slowly shutting down we will get no hours no days just like we did before the pandemic.

My advice to people that are still at Sears leave it ASAP! The day my store closed (its been almost 3 years since January it closed) it was the best thing ever! I was so happy no more toxic environment no more being slaved. I am doing way better in my life I have a career I make 3 times more with benefits (when I was working 40 hours at my store which was usually holiday season since I was part time). In the 6 months I been in my career that I am in right now I have 100 plus hours of vacation/sick/holiday etc of days off. When I was at Sears 4 years the most I got was like 70 hours of vacation. Not to mention this coming up pay check that I get in the end of the month I am getting a 5% raise. Something that Sears never gave us hard working people every year that passed no raises (other than when the government enacted their own law for minimum wage to keep increasing).

Sears is just a c-appy place to stay in. Lots of great people management is toxic they don't care about you. They will over work you and cut your hours and give you little bit of hours when needed. Some might remember my name I haven't been in this site probably over 7 to 8 months since my store closed. People that are still at Sears GTFO! That is my only advice best decision ever I did in my life!

Shout out to my ex POS manager he is doing bad economically and I have no sympathy because he was a perverted scumbag. That store manager was from #1988. Putting him on the spot if he ever sees this. I am doing fantastic in my life you I have no respect because you honestly never cared about us. I make more than you and I have an actual retirement so I will be fine in my life. As for you karma probably got you good!

This is probably my last message ever here. If anyone ever needs help or advice just mention me and I will holla back at ya. I will come here time to time until the day Sears is officially gone for good since Lampert is probably close to taking everything he needs.

Open enrollment for health benefits oct 21-nov 4. Exciting news!!! sears/transformer hold co / a&e Instead of costing $1,400.00 a month for a family with t-b-cco free credits of course, will now cost you $2,000.00. But they’re gonna offer supplemental insurance on top of more supplemental insurance because of the higher premiums. Such a great company to operate for knowing they care deeply about they’re employees. #leavenow
