Redundancy

As we get close to the reality of redundancy, there are many who have seen it before and have a greater understanding of the process and what might be on offer. My question is: From your experience, Would voluntary redundancy be offered to fixed term contract staff who have been with company more than a decade but only have rolling three year or two year contracts?

Didn't bvb say we need to get rid of contractors? Why are contractors still here and employees are getting the axe? To answer the question you are a contractor why would you get any benefit or payout? This shows how entitled people are at shell, even the contractors expect payouts. You get paid twice or more because you are contractor versus a full time employee you do not receive any employee company benefits hence no payout.

That’s really useful information. I haven’t served time as a fixed permanent staff. So in all probability if made redundant would there be any likelihood of compensation or simply three months notice and termination? I have 2-3 years left on my contract.
