Remember when the reusable coffee cups kept disappearing? Seems someone must have had an eBay sale! I recall an email saying thousands had gone missing.

They were great spitoons.
@bry+17oGZ7UT - that's because no-one ever cleaned them out ! God knows how much mold, algae and hard water deposits are in the water reservoir, feed lines and boiler.
Those cups were awful.
I called them sippy cups. And the coffee out of those thousand dollar machine s—ed as well.
I think people were trying to help the plastics industry and using those orange cups a single time before throwing it away.
There is a Yammer group dedicated to photos of the cups being found in strange places on campus because people can’t seem to clean up,after themselves. K-cups in the wild or something like that.
can you blame them? without bonuses, EM employees need to find some way to earn extra income

The desk lamps too. Every desk had one originally and they were several hundred dollars each. Most are missing now.
