Im from the colombia BU, just wondering how is the past due promotions and leveling situation in the US business units. Here is quite dire, quite a few pople have retired, all higher positions filled by the best employees but with seldom or none at all salary increases in spite of higher responsibilities. Every year the promotions are quite limites (mostly for people in the loop with the local leadership team). On the field rotation positions where 2 persons do exactly the same job there are salary differences even greater than 100%!.
Also This year we got no salary increase in spite that inflation in colombia is considerably higher than in the US. Can you believe that a newly promoted a production superintendent earns less than 40k / year, or a well surveillance engineer makes around 20k per year?

Latam salaries and other areas are shown in the yearly SPE salary survey. there was no point on improving salaries or promotion since the assets have been on the look for divesting for a while. yes. it doesn’t seem just when compared to the US which have been traditionally the golden yard. Do yourself a favor and don’t compare yourself.
I wonder if Ecopetrol knew about this deal before the sale?
All onshore operations gone? ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, then all staff gone as well
100% cut i would guess
VH will run the operation WFH or from her car while listening to Yellow Submarine
What a mess this will be. Good luck to all.
Do you know the percentage of jobs will be cut after the Colombia asset is being sold?
