I find any of the October 15 dates hard to believe given the negotiation of the paid days off being from prior bank holidays worked.

2007 to 2008 seniority dates what my union steward is being told. This along way from being over.
I heard this one is going to be huge. But come January, those numbers will darwf those this Friday

With original posts like this thread (Its like the 4th one about Oct 16) its no wonder they are laying people off.
Thats why they need a union, you work with id–ts that start threads like this that could not keep a job without seniority
Boeing has been mis-managed for well over 20 years and the results of this are showing up in their products: Commercial or Military!
I think this will be the most telling of layoffs. Very little has been said about this layoff which provides fodder for rumors that it will be devastating or that it will be very limited.

I think Aviall in Dallas will be 0utsourced to India , to the same operation that does such a great job on their accounts payable and making sure that vendors are paid promptly and efficiently
