It's very simple guys. Copper has seen better days. Techs are not to blame and frontier/Verizon not willing to invest because they missed the boat years ago. Just kicking the can down the road. It's a shame because plenty of good employees in a no win situation. Hang in there if possible or take a chance on finding another job in this economy. Either way good luck to all in this predicament.

NYS PSC and FCC will allow end of life on the copper network within the next 24 months. After that what value does ftr bring to consumers or businesses? They already did that in Buffalo with VZ.

Union labor has everything to do with service related issues, they are the ones that are installing and repairing the copper plant. Nobody should be subjected to 3meg but techs are still installing it and setting false expectations to the customers that get it. Clearly the union has taught you a lot, kowalski.

What does union labor have to do with outdated copper plant? Its 2020, time to upgrade. Pretty sure 1meg, 3 meg wont cut it anymore.
